Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice President of Verizon's mobile network. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr., a businessman and director of an internet-based network was her father. As a child of a Catholic home, she was brought up in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Their parents had their daughter at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. The music was her love from the age of a child. The first time she played the piano at an infant. At thirteen, she composed her first piece. She performed at open mic nights. She was a big fan of Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna, and David Bowie. She took music classes at the Tisch School of Art of New York University after completing her high school education. Although she was not able to pursue her studies, and instead she quit the school to begin her music career.
